Discover the underground world by creating a project tailored to your group

Les Sous-Terriens are keen to introduce caving and outdoor sports to as many people as possible, young and old, beginners and athletes.

We suggest you create a project over one or several days depending on your group and your needs.

Breakaway stays, green classes, summer camps, or vacations with friends, come and discover caving over several days, with the possibility of spending a night underground.

Examples of stays

Caving bivouac

Taste an unforgettable experience: spend 24 hours underground until you fall asleep in total darkness!

Start with a (half) day of caving adapted to your level and end up setting up camp underground to spend the night. Lose track of time and let go for this extraordinary adventure.

Break-up stay

Breakaway stays, as an alternative educational project, aim to cut young people off from their environment in order to allow them to find a second wind far from the problems of their daily life.

We offer stays over several days, with progression throughout the week. A first discovery outing, a second introductory outing and a final major outing at the end of the week.

Everyone will then have time to master the techniques of moving underground, to understand their environment and to manage their equipment throughout the week.

It is also possible to bivouac and spend a night underground.

Example of a one-week stay:

Sunday: Arrival on site, presentation of the week, delivery of equipment.

Monday: Discovery outing (one morning underground), picnic and cliff rope workshop.

Tuesday: Introductory day outing.

Wednesday: “Sun” day: canoeing, mountain biking, hiking, via-corda...

Thursday: Sports day outing

Friday: Cleaning of equipment, tidying up of the lodge, review of the past week.

Multidisciplinary stay

Several outdoor activities can be added to caving during our stays. Discover a wide range of activities, always supervised by us, such as canoeing, mountain biking, hiking, via-corda, heritage discovery and of course caving!

Keeping the same instructors throughout the week allows you to better manage everyone's progress while getting to know each other.
